Ragus Kiss For Luck
Lucky and his way to our family
It was autumn 2012 and we have seen Crispin is satisfied in our family but in his pack there is missing another dog. Therefore I started to look around internationl kennels to gain another one member of family. At first I was interested in one russian kennel. The breeder disagreed to fly to Murmansk to look trough puppies and parents of them. She knew I was also interested in puppies from United Kingdom and after loss of my interest for puppy she told me that to gain puppy from UK is much harder than from her kennel, it is much more expensive and takes much longer time. After this experience I strarted to look for puppy from UK. I did not hesitate to contact Mrs. Lesley Crawley, owner of kennel Ragus. She was always very pleasant, even some time it takes longer time to answer due dog show.
She knew I want dog for family and for dog shows, she always tried to find out in litter male with breed standards from birth (6 teeth between canines, scissors bite, descended testicles), we have to wait 1 year and three-quarters to go for him.
Trip for Lucky was an adventure in itself, it was not possible to fly with puppy on board, in train there can travel only guide dogs or dogs for disabled passengers, so the only chance to go was to go by car. We left Prague on Thursday and came back on Sunday. We used Eurotunnel there and back, drove on the opposite site of the road than in Czech. My husband Peter hate whole week his car because of the length of trip which was 4500 km in 4 day:).
When we arrived home, Crispin was waiting for us at home. We laied down Lucky on floor at the door entrance, have welcome with Crispin and after this it was up to them. Crispin be kept absolutely incredible, not only allowed him to enter his territory, but soon it began to protect and licked around him. This was and is his.
Lucky started to bother him every day and every minute of day and has not stopped. When it is too much Crispin establishes policy and everything is OK.
Dog shows wait for us to become stud dog, education obedience and life in our family. It is much easier for him, because he has Crispin in a pack and is learning from him.
